Gigaphoton is an innovator of leading edge excimer laser technology,
a critical element in the photolithographic process of producing

marketing, and sales of light sources for DUV lithography tools.
History
Komatsu introduced its first excimer laser product in 1985. By
1987, Komatsu had made significant strides in improving its technology
and introduced the KrF excimer laser. Today, Komatsu continues
its history of progress with Ushio as the company Gigaphoton,
offering a range of light source products to the semiconductor
industry. Metron is proud to support the introduction
of excimer laser technology from Gigaphoton to the European market
through product sales & marketing efforts and technology
